Chris is a long time writer for British television drama. He is currently part of the core-writing team on ITV’s Emmerdale, writing regular episodes for the prime-time soap. Previously, Chris was the most commissioned writer of Channel 4’s Hollyoaks in its twenty year history and was one of five core members of the main story conference group. Chris has written over 125 episodes of Hollyoaks as well as six episodes of the hour long late night series, Hollyoaks Later. He began his writing career on Channel 5’s Family Affairs and has also worked on the special Hollyoaks: Back from the Dead in 2006. Chris also has a drama series currently in development with Lime Pictures and ITV2 under executives Steve November and Jane Hudson, with a pilot script and series bible commissioned.
