Vicki Lutas is an Emmy-winning writer for TV drama, children’s and digital. She is currently in production on her Netflix Original young-adult drama series Free Rein, now on its third season, which she co-created with Anna McCleery and which she is also Executive Producing. The series most recently won two Emmy Awards at the 2018 Daytime Emmys including Best Family Series.

A true multi-format talent, Vicki previously worked extensively with Channel 4’s Hollyoaks, developing all of their online content as their head digital writer, before moving on to the story team, firstly as a Storyliner, then as Series Story-Editor. Vicki has also written multiple episodes of BBC’s 30’ teen-soap The Cut and also episodes for CBBC comedy-drama The Secret Life of Boys. Outside of TV, she also writes blog pieces for The Huffington Post and for teen website ‘Whatever After.’
