Charlotte’s short film End of Day, which explores the disconnection from nature experienced by a young woman walled in by London’s corporate world, premiered at Sunrise Film Festival 2024 and has gone on to further successes, winning Best Actress awards at the Vienna International Film Awards and Los Angeles IndieX Film Festival.
Charlotte is also a successful theatre director, assistant director and choreographer working on productions across the country, on national tours and internationally. She has worked on productions at The Royal National Theatre and The Royal Shakespeare Company, working with Olivier Award-winning directors, and as Choreographer at Shakespeare’s Globe. Her theatre work has been across a range of genres including musical theatre, new writing, opera, pantomime and from contemporary pieces to Shakespeare, and her productions have been selected as Time Out Critic’s Choice and been named The Independent’s Pick of the Fringe.
Charlotte’s extensive theatre work and experience has translated to a successful career behind the camera, being known as an actor’s director. Charlotte is not only able to draw out powerful performances from her actors, she commands the confidence and respect of her colleagues in front and behind the camera who often express how keen they are to work with her again.
