Robert is a BAFTA-winning writer and Executive Producer for television drama and young-adult/ children’s series. He is currently developing two drama series with Nicola Schinder’s Quay Street Productions, an original comedy-drama for Luti Media and ITV2, and an original drama for Joe Donaldson’s Magic Hour Television.
Robert wrote the BBC3 docu-dramas Is This Rape? Sex on Trial, which was nominated for Best Original Programme at the Broadcast Awards 2017, and the recent Is This Coercive Control? for BBC3. Robert has also previously written regular episodes for BBC1’s Eastenders, Casualty and Channel 4’s Hollyoaks. For children’s and young-adult, Robert was lead-writer and Executive Producer across two seasons of his original horror-anthology drama series Creeped Out (with co-creator Bede Blake) for CBBC and DHX, which Netflix picked up the worldwide streaming rights for. Creeped Out won the Best Drama BAFTA at the children’s awards 2019. For writing it was nominated for a Writers Guild of Great Britain Award and a British Screenwriters Award.
