Ryan Denham is a screenwriter, director and producer for children’s broadcast animation and digital content. He is currently head writer for Hasbro’s Peppa Pig Tales, the digital-first companion show to the mainline Peppa Pig series (which he also writes and consults for), and was head writer for WildBrain’s Caillou’s New Adventures. Recently he has written for the new series Transformers: Cyberworld. Before that Ryan has written for some of the most well-known children’s brands in the world, including My Little Pony, Akedo, Play Doh, Peanuts, Power Rangers and Nerf to name a few. He has also directed on multiple seasons of shows such as My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale, Caillou’s New Adventures and Mish & Mash.
Ryan worked developing numerous projects over six years that he was in-house at Wildbrain Spark, including the series Mish & Mash and Superzuzaa, and, after leaving, continued as a Development Producer on Slugterra: Ascension and Strawberry Shortcake: Berry in the Big City. He is now developing his own original projects.
Ryan has a lot of experience within children’s media, particularly when it comes to digital first content and he has worked across projects involving Live-Action, 2D, 3D and Stop Motion animation, video games and puppetry – injecting shows with endearing characters, electrifying stories, wacky off-beat humour as well as an emotional heart and warmth.
