Simon is a writer for both film and television. He earned a first-class honours degree in screenwriting at Liverpool John Moores University, and currently has an original comedy/ drama The Actor in development with Element Pictures. His previous development projects include original modern slavery drama The Unpunished with Expectation Entertainment, sitcoms with Carnival Film & Television and Cowboy Films and he was commissioned to write a pilot for Fish Head Steve for Random House Children’s Screen Entertainment.

He has developed several feature film projects with Steel Mill Pictures and BAFTA-winning director Dan Smith. Simon was also selected for the Ifeatures scheme with his feature script White Collars with producer Andrew Ryder and directing team The Horton Brothers.
